Role: Working in our small Software Team, creating, developing, writing and testing robust and quality code for a wide range of our software products.

Job description: This position works within an exceptional team of software engineers to ensure the quality of the server-side software for ARM computer vision solutions.

Duties will include:

• Overseeing software QA processes and infrastructure
• Test plan development and test script implementation
• Testing, result analysis and assisting in solving identified problems
• Internal technical support

Essential Skills Required:

• Testing strategy development
• Continuous integration tools (Jenkins and/or others)
• Automated test frameworks • REST service testing

Desirable skills:

• Scala and/or Java 7/8
• Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Web UI test automation

Job Requirements

Experience Required:

• Solid experience of server-side software development and testing within a commercial development environment
• Load testing
• Supporting internal and external customers with integration issues
• Continuous integration and automatic testing

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with high-load and/or real-time Cloud systems
• Defining quality acceptance criteria for external contractors

Other Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal English
• This position is within a small team so the successful candidate must be able to work well with colleagues and possess good communication skills.
• A flexible and agile attitude to work, with the ability to handle and prioritise multiple projects
• Excellent academic record – minimum 2:1 or equivalent at first degree level, in maths, physics, electronic engineering or other relevant discipline
