This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Operations Analyst to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of ARM’s engineering service delivery teams. We deliver a wide variety of projects and services to ARM’s engineering groups and you will play a vital role in supporting those delivery teams with knowledge management, project assurance, and all types of reporting.

This role is based in the Technology Service Group (TSG) in ARM. We provide and steer the engineering technology infrastructure that ARM engineers use for day to day research, development, and all engineering tasks. This spans the provision of compute and storage, the deployment of EDA and software tools, resource management, workflow development and deployment, methodology steering groups, Project Management Office (PMO) and quality assurance. The group brings a strong focus on effectiveness and efficiency, driving or facilitating improvements across ARM.

As a member of the operations team, we are responsible for the business management of the Technology Service Group. In this role, you will support service status and project progress reporting; group balanced score card and group communications; project assurance and best practice; and procurement support and contract management. You will work closely with project managers, service managers, and the operations management team to enable good project and service management and decision making.

We are looking for someone who will:

·  Prepare management information for group management
·  Provide support for project and service delivery reports
·  Provide support for operations balanced scorecard
·  Curate the group intranet presence
·  Analyse project trends and promote best practice
·  Provide support for procurement and contract management

Job Requirements

What skills, experience and qualifications do I need?

·  You will have experience of operations support in a fast moving and demanding project and service delivery environment
·  You will be a visible and effective communicator
·  You will be a strong analytical thinker, able to forecast, identify and reporting emerging trends and risks
·  You will enjoy solving problems and sharing solutions
