ARM’s “Imaging and Vision Group (IVG)” provides image processing technology that you will almost certainly be using today! From the Image Signal Processor used in digital cameras (be it a surveillance camera, drone or tablet), to our “Assertive Display” powering more than a billion mobile devices.

Working in our Image Quality Team, ensuring the quality of the images produced by our firmware and algorithms in a range of camera and display subsystems by undertaking testing and analysis of images. This is a technical analysis position and is not suitable for candidates wishing to pursue research in this field.

This position reports to our Image Quality Lead

To undertake tuning of ISP systems to ensure our image quality. This will involve tuning systems for releases and customer demonstrations, preparing documentation and undertaking some customer support.

Job Requirements

Experience:

Working experience within the field of Image Quality within a camera, sensor or ISP development environment.

Skills Required:

·  Familiar with Image Quality Metrics
·  Familiar with image processing techniques and concepts
·  Working knowledge of general ISP and image processing algorithms
·  Good report writing skills
·  Statistical analysis
·  Understanding of 3A algorithms (Auto White Balance, Auto Focus, Auto Exposure)
·  Understanding of the difference between Bayer space, YUV and RGB
·  Familiarity with Image quality testing software such as IMATEST
·  Basic understanding of CMOS sensors
·  Understanding/knowledge of Matlab and C or other programming language

Qualifications Required:

Bachelors or equivalent degree in a relevant technical subject.
