About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an intern our advanced server team. You’ll need to have architecture and software development skills, in addition to being able to think creatively. Because we’re a small team, you’ll be able to make contributions in a wide number of areas.

What will I be accountable for?

You will be working on understanding server workloads and determining how to improve their performance including:

• Developing and enhancing innovative tools for architectural exploration and performance analysis

• Running experiments on real and simulated platforms

• Understanding real-world use-cases and building workloads to model them

• Identifying bottlenecks across software, micro-architecture, and architecture

• Contributing to future server designs

Job Requirements

What skills, experience and qualifications do I need?

• Bachelors or higher in the field of Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering with 3.3+ GPA

• Strong programming experience in C, C++ and scripting, in addition to a solid background in computer architecture

• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments

• A strong ability to think creatively and communicate effectively in a global team environment will be essential

Preferably, you will also have some background or experience in server applications and system and software debug
