In a nutshell

You'll be developing and maintaining Credit Risk MI and supporting our Credit MI Manager in monthly MI delivery and commentary for internal Committees and Forums.

What success looks like?

You'll positively impact the overall profitability and security of the Argos Card through effective reporting and performance analytics of the arrears portfolio.

What you'll be doing

Creating the monthly Credit Risk Collections & Recoveries MI deck, this includes querying the data warehouse for inputs and delivering the MI to agreed timelines.
Creating periodic regular MI.
Gathering requirements and producing meaningful and concise ad hoc MI as requested.
Analysing complex problems with multiple interdependencies.
Developing a good knowledge of the Argos Financial Services and Sainsbury's Bank consumer portfolios and how Collections & Recoveries impact performance.

What you need to know and show

Strong SQL skills, with the ability to build new SQL reports and edit existing SQL reports.
Experience producing periodic reporting to a high degree of accuracy, collating information from the wider business, to deadlines.
Strong data interpretation and analytical skills including data manipulation & presentation of findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience of Credit Risk, Collections, Retail Finance or Banking in addition to the above would all be advantageous.
