Join us in this Central Flow Team Planner role and you'll be working cross-functionally with Central Distribution and Supply teams to provide the distribution centres with the most accurate forecast and volume information to allow for effective planning of the movement of stock both into and within the business (Flow).

To be successful in this role, you'll be comfortable in an ever-changing fast paced environment. You'll be fully responsible for the creation of the working sales and stock budget in conjunction with Flow / Central MM to agreed business timelines and maintenance on a weekly basis.

More about the role:

To manage the short-term forecasting and planning activity, ensuring operational plans and key activity schedules are developed and communicated throughout the business
To ensure the systems and order-books are accurate and set up to provide the best possible flow and intake plans influencing key stakeholders in Supply and Demand Forecasting where required
To ensure all key Events have been considered when formulating the weekly workload forecast information, liaising where required with Supply Teams and the Events Manager
To co-ordinate the reporting of key volume on a daily, weekly and period basis and ensure historical plans, data and information are available for budgetary, planning and development purposes
To develop effective relationships with key stakeholders (Retail Ops, Commercial, Central Flow Teams)
To lead & develop the team and drive up engagement levels

More about you:

Previous experience of forecasting / budgeting stock movements across a multi DC network
Worked in a FMCG / Retail business, and have thorough understanding of stock flows
Appreciation of Merchandising practices (within an S&OP model), to ensure supports correct decision making
Advanced in the use of Excel (inc. macro's), and ideally experienced in using databases

Strong understanding of dealing with large quantities of management information – be able to analyse and use the data to make intelligent decisions, contributing to continuous improvement across all departments
