The Business Analyst is responsible for providing support to Argos Financial Services’ (AFS) programmes and projects by defining project scopes, eliciting and documenting requirements, documenting existing and future processes and supporting the Project Managers throughout the lifecycle of the projects, ensuring the business receives fit-for-purpose solutions.

Every project we are involved in will impact the AFS customer in some way, your role is key to identifying those impacts and assessing them.

As a Business Analyst, you will:

Be responsible for the elicitation, documentation and prioritisation of effective business and non-functional requirements.
Manage business requirements using requirements catalogues and traceability matrices, ensuring additional scope is identified and managed through the correct process.
Create and verify business processes, using recognised process methodology, employing MS Visio to create processes and communicating these to all relevant stakeholders.
Identify and work with key stakeholders to support effective capture and communication of business requirements for programmes and projects.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather and review requirements, design plans, mitigate risks and resolve issues.
Work closely with all project related colleagues, such as Programme Managers, Project Managers, Business Sponsors, Business Architects, Test teams and PMO, to ensure full support of deliverables for programmes and projects.
Assist in identifying any key dependencies with other change in the business and work with the relevant stakeholders to determine and manage any impacts.
Proactively manage and escalate any concerns that may affect delivery.
Ensure documentation is in line with agreed standards and that business analysis practices are managed in line with the Risk Management Framework.
Translate business requirements and solutions to a level understandable to all stakeholders.

As a Business Analyst, you will have:

Experience in the Financial Services industry.
Experience working on an integration or migration programme.
A customer-focused outlook.
Strong relationship management skills.
Excellent written communication skills to be comfortable producing business and project reports.
Exceptional communication skills to communicate effectively with anyone in any environment, for example to translate complex and technical issues to meet the audience's competency level.
