Field Services and Operations:

The TN Field Services and Operations Department is responsible for deploying resources to the field in support of dry fuel storage loading campaigns, HSM Field Construction, TNRAM Deployments.

J ob Description:

TN Americcas is seeking an experienced Field Service Representative for our Aiken, SC facility.
GENERAL SUMMARY

Under very broad supervision, this position is responsible for routine to very complex installation, repair, preventative maintenance and testing of tools and equipment at customer sites. Relies on expert experience/judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Frequently directs less experienced staff in the field and provides input regarding performance. May be required to work around radioactive and/or corrosive chemicals and to wear appropriate protective equipment.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Participates in planning and executing projects; assists in preparation of proposal and procurement documents.
· Creates on site work plans and manages personnel to stay within cost and schedule targets.
· Reviews loading procedures and makes comments consistent with design basis.
· Supervises the installation, operation and maintenance of NUHOMS® related tooling and equipment at plant sites.
· Plan and direct the daily activities of a group of professional, lead or support personnel who perform nuclear plant ISFSI (Dry Cask Storage) or other field services work.
· Maintains on site documentation including logs, personnel usage spreadsheets, status reports, lessons learned documentation and post campaign reports.
· Provides input to training materials and supervises training of their crew as applicable.
· Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance.
· Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely services.
· May require extensive travel to a variety of regional and remote job sites.
· Provides technical guidance to subordinates in resolution of non-routine problems.
· Plans, organizes, monitors and controls the work activities of the group in accordance with customer requirements and company policies, procedures, and objectives.
· Trains, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports and contractors.
· Supervises group's performance to complete projects within budget and schedule.
· Ensures adherence to regulatory and safety requirements.
· Assists in developing technical protocols or improving existing ones.
· Conducts project presentations to customer and/or AREVA TN management for Job scope and/or readiness reviews.
· Maintains documentation to meet customer and/or AREVA TN obligations.

Qualifications :

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.
·  High School diploma, or equivalent education, with a minimum of four (4) years of related industrial experience.
·  Three (3) years direct experience with NUHOMS® technology.
·  Expert knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, procedures and concepts used in field services work in a nuclear environment.
· 
Previous NUHOMS® experience

·  Knowledge of industry safety and health policies and programs in use a nuclear facilities.
·  Knowledge of lifting and handling practices.
·  Good written/verbal skills; ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, vendors and customers.
·  Ability to comprehend instructions, policies, procedures and guidelines required to perform assigned tasks.
·  Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and remain standing for extended periods of time.
The following requirements are desired and will be used to differentiate all candidates who apply for this position.
·  At least 3 years Dry Fuel Storage and .
·  Must have previously held unescorted access at a commercial nuclear site in the last 3 years.
·  Will be required to obtain and maintain unescorted access at commercial nuclear stations.
·  Must be physically able to efficiently use facility stairs over 60 ft on a routine basis, on occasion lift at least 50 lbs, and be comfortable working in high heat/humidity in buildings or low temperatures and weather outside, work rotating shifts up to 72 hours per week - as required based on client schedules.
·  Have led multiple ISFSI operations campaign with any technology; have at least 10 combined years supervising or managing nuclear field operations involving refueling floor/fuel building work for ISFSI, refueling, or similar activities at a commercial nuclear station.
·  Knowledgeable of protocols for welding at a nuclear station and at least familiar with TIG welding processes used in canister closure.
·  Experienced with canister vacuum drying processes.
·  Have knowledge of fuel handling procedures and guidelines and may have personal fuel handling experience.
·  Computer literate; experienced with Microsoft Office products.
