POSITION DESCRIPTION


Reporting to the Manager, Finance & Accounting, this position is responsible for the following duties:

Responsibilities include:
· Corporate Taxation & Compliance
· Preparation of corporate tax returns, T106's and contemporaneous documentation
· Management of Canada Revenue Agency audits
· Research tax policy and identification of tax opportunities/threats
· Calculation of Deferred Taxes
· Assist with the completion of tax audits and Transfer Pricing documentation
· Withholding tax, GST & PST filing, including the management of audits, research and internal support
· SR&ED tax filing, with focus on identifying projects eligible for tax credit
· Accounting Integration of non-operated Joint Ventures including McArthur River and Key Lake
· Monthly accounting (operating costs and projects reporting and analysis)
· Liaise with Cameco and Orano Canada's Joint Venture monitoring group to review budgets and assist in the preparation of forecasts
· Perform internal audits

Desired profile

Qualifications :

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.
·  CPA designation
·  3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
· 
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP is an asset.

· 
Strong oral and written communication skills, fluency in French is an asset

· 
Excellent planning and organization skills to coordinate efforts and meet deadlines.

·  Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team.
