GNB Department Overview
The Global Network Business (GNB) enables American Express to be the world's leading payment Network for Card Issuers and Merchant Acquirers. The focus of GNB is to deliver an operationally and commercially robust Network, achieve competitive parity for our Network platforms & create Network value by developing differentiated products, capabilities and services for all Issuers and Acquirers. The Network Platforms and Product Delivery team is dynamic with a mission to enable new capabilities, growth and innovation along with maximizing the value of our technical platforms as key business assets.

Job Responsibilities
The Network Platforms and Product Development team (NPPD), is responsible for business ownership, delivery and ongoing process management for Network Platforms including GC&S, GAN, GAN EDC, NAP and ETV. The Manager – Network Services will be responsible for a variety of assignments, based upon business needs, in support of the overall NPPD remit. Initial focus intended to support delivery of products and initiatives within the Digital Platform arena (e.g. Network API Platform, Enterprise Token Vault), which includes Project Management of development activities within a multi stakeholder environment along with process & operations management involving production and compliance

Desired profile

Required Qualifications:
·  Exceptional project management skills.
·  Proven ability to analyze and identify the underlying causes of complex issues and make sound recommendations based on the analysis.
·  Proven ability to translate and communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
·  Experience in key areas of the Card Payments space including linkages with lifecycle transaction processing.
·  Proven ability to manage multiple and changing priorities on an ongoing basis.
·  Strong customer focus with the ability to meet multi stakeholder expectations.
·  Excellent written, verbal and presentation/communication skills.
·  Proven collaboration and relationship skills to work across multiple teams.
·  Proven ability to effectively build relationships and influence at varying levels.
·  Proven ability to manage and drive results without direct authority and work autonomously under minimal supervision.
·  Strong collaborative skills & experience leading and working in a matrix environment consisting of cross functional teams.
·  Experience with internal controls and process compliance.
·  Resilience with a “will to win” in a dynamic and fast paced work environment.
·  Outstanding team player is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:
·  Have maintained a role with Product Ownership/Management expectations.
·  Knowledge of AXP transaction processing i.e. authorization and clearing and settlement.
·  Knowledge of Agile Delivery Methodology, PMP certification or equivalent work experience.
·  1-2 years experience in a production/product support related role.
·  1-2 years experience in a Payments Network role.
