The Consumer Products team is a dynamic business that manages Credit Cards and Charge Cards in Australia and New Zealand. Working with our local and international business teams and external partners to deliver product benefits, customer service and communications strategies for a range of Charge cards including our super premium Centurion and Platinum portfolios.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an energetic, agile, passionate and “hands on” Assistant Manager to join the team to continue to drive growth, enhance customer engagement & develop innovative ways to deliver on our communications strategies.

Key accountabilities include:

• Management of the end to end marketing communication campaigns (with a strong digital focus) to support the Consumer Products product line strategy plans.

• Assist with the development of online engagement strategy to drive email opt-in and engagement with benefits via the online site, including content management.

• Drive results through partnering with other teams and influencing internal and external stakeholders including the management of research and marketing agencies and external vendors such as printers, mail houses and creative agencies.

• Day to day Budget management and processing of finances.

• Post implementation reviews and reporting by supporting the team by providing post campaign reviews & customer experience metrics for all projects.

Desired profile

To be successful, you will need to have/be:

• Marketing experience ideally with a combination of product, project and relationship management within financial services, or similar industry.

• Experience with online content management and digital engagement strategy preferred.

• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing strong project management skills to deliver to critical timelines and with excellent attention to detail.

• Proven skills in relationship management and influencing cross functional project teams.

• Results oriented with excellent organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Tertiary qualified preferably in marketing or business.

• An understanding of American Express' Consumer Charge products and the competitive landscape would be advantageous.
