The International Customer Application Experience team is part of Integrated Marketing Solutions (IMS) within Global Consumer Services Group (GCSG) at American Express.

Digital acquisition is one of GCSG's key priorities, and a core component is making the application process as easy and seamless as possible. The purpose of the International Application Experience team is to grow billed business acquired by accelerating the completed applications for our international prospect and customer application journeys. The team develops digital products for both our self-directed (i.e. web/mobile) and assisted (face to face and telemarketing) journeys, combining excellent customer experience and compelling features and functionality.

The International Customer Application team partners closely with colleagues across 22 international markets, and the Blue-Box to drive growth and market place differentiation for GCSG. The Customer Application Experience is an industry leading short form initiative for current customers to upgrade their accounts, add additional accounts, and add additional cards to existing accounts.
In this role, the analyst will support the development by analyzing market processes, assisting in providing requirements for new features, and be responsible for providing insightful analysis and ad-hoc reporting to identify optimization opportunities. The analyst will partner closely with local market acquisition teams, Central capabilities and marketing teams, and Technology to ensure efficient delivery of the product backlog.

Job Responsibilities :
· Provide support for and/or lead core development projects within the International Prospect Application journey
· Manage team budget and provide budget reporting updates
· Central governance and backlog management of incoming development requests
· Assist in post-launch analysis for the team's core product releases, testing, and ongoing product optimization
· Conduct ongoing assessments of international online applications to determine how applications can be optimized
· Travel ~5%

·  Understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Scrum

Preferred Additional Skills/Qualifications:
·  At least 2 years of digital product development experience.
·  Familiarity with basic UX/UI principles and Responsive Web Design (RWD)
·  Experience in matrix organizations and cross-functional environments
·  Experience with Adobe SiteCatalyst, AdHoc, and/or Discover tools a strong plus
·  International experience and/or additional language proficiency a plus
Educational Requirement:
·  Bachelor's Degree required
