DESCRIPTION

Do you want to play an instrumental role in helping leaders and HR professionals make data-driven decisions for advancing diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategy? The D&I team supporting WW Consumer is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to help the HR team and our business partners create and execute strategic D&I plans. You’ll partner with research scientists on the team, as well as D&I program managers, HRBPs, and business leaders to turn data insights into actions.

This will be a great fit if you get excited by partnering with key stakeholders to dig deep into data to understand and identify insights that will help direct D&I strategy and measure impact of D&I programs. You need excellent analytical abilities as well as outstanding business acumen and an ability to tie together data from across Amazon in order to help enable effective decision making. The ability to communicate data insights to the business is a critical skill in this role.

Responsibilities:
§ Partner closely with WW Consumer D&I research team, Consumer People Analytics (CPA), business leaders, HRBPs and D&I line leads to inform and deliver D&I data insights and recommendations to drive D&I strategy
§ Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
§ Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs
§ Identify key indicators and actionable insights, and design reports that effectively communicate the most important information to drive decisions.
§ Support data needs related to business cadence such as monthly and quarterly business reviews

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

§ An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
§ Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present and clearly communicate complex data, analyses, and findings to non-experts
§ Advanced ability to draw insights from analysis supported by data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required.
§ Self-driven with the ability to deliver on ambiguous projects, including those with incomplete data.
§ Experience delivering projects across multiples business groups with differing needs and preferences
§ Advanced ability extracting and processing data using SQL and Excel
§ Experience iterating data products and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources
§ 5+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analyst role
§ Advanced technical or business degree (MS or MBA)
§ Advanced proficiency with at least one data visualization package (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight)
§ Working knowledge of statistical methods and research design
§ Experience working with diversity analytics
§ Background and/or interest in learning and development, particularly as it relates to upskilling HR and business leaders in regards to statistical analysis and data reporting

§ 3+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analyst role
§ Familiarly with at least one data visualization package (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight)
