Amazon’s Global Workforce Strategy and Innovation (AGWS) is pioneering solutions to our toughest workforce challenges across the globe building innovative labor models and infrastructure that improve Amazon’s employment value proposition and scale over time. AGWS is seeking a talented and self-motivated Workforce Engagement Manager to join the team building foundational strategies for our future workforce supporting Robotics and Automation Technologies. This position will partner closely with Amazon business teams, including Robotics and Regional Maintenance and Engineering to build and operate a recruiting and sourcing program for maintenance technicians of all skill-levels in North America. Working closely with key business partners, the Workforce Engagement Manager will partner with team members to build this first of its kind program from the ground-up managing all aspects of the sourcing and recruiting funnel.
The RME Workforce Engagement Manager focuses on providing work opportunities for candidates through three key pillars: military, student, and underserved and underrepresented community partnerships. The program will also focus on building and expanding teach to career programs through Amazon Career Choice, Apprenticeship, and High School Training Programs. You will own partnering across internal and external partners to market and advertise the RME program and will work closely with the RME 3P Program Management team to execute pipeline development in key markets.
This role requires an individual with an on-going curiosity and creative streak, balanced with the ability to distill numerous inputs/ideas into meaningful actions and recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, great judgment, clear and convincing communication skills, and a track record of delivering actionable solutions. He/she will have strong analytical capabilities, a process improvement mentality, and the ability to interface effectively and communicate convincingly with multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, possess strong attention to detail, have the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven problem-solving skills, project management experience, and strong attention to detail
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate in cross-functional environment across business functions and levels of leadership
· Ability to work well in fast-paced ambiguous environment
· Strong operational business understanding, including potential impact of business decisions on various internal/external stakeholders, systems and processes
· Experience with Amazon Workforce Staffing operations
· PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
· Effective in a small, multi-disciplined, fast-paced team environment
· Have ability to consistently deliver results with quick turnaround
· Strong spirit of innovation, self-starter, independent, and with ability to come up with solutions to meet business problems
· Ability to work with business owners to define key business questions and build data sets that answer those questions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· A Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional or military experience
5+ years of experience in program/project management
5+ years of experience with HR systems and/or high volume recruiting

2+ years partnership development experience

Travel up to 75%
