DESCRIPTION

As UX Designer for the Amazon Identity experience, you will craft simple, easy to use, and beautiful experiences that enable the customer to interact with Amazon. You will help customers establish their accounts and update their personal information to enable seamless access and action. You thrive in complex use cases and love to solve problems for the benefit of customers around the world. You have an inventor's spirit and you never settle for good enough, inspiring others with your passion and empathy for the customer. Your work will focus on mobile first, though you'll also expand features to create a true multi-device experiences that move with the customer from one device to another.

Identity Services owns the identity and account information for Amazon customers, whether they are buyers, sellers or AWS developers across all platforms. We also manage external products like Login with Amazon - enabling our hundreds of millions of active users to sign-in to 3rd party sites and apps.

The Amazon Consumer Experience team (CXT) is a group of highly curious designers, researchers, and prototypers working collaboratively to bring products to life, power the Amazon shopping experience, and deliver innovation at incredible scale across all devices and touchpoints. Our team is excited to welcome a new creative and driven designer to join us as we build best-in-class shopping experiences for millions of people around the world.

Responsibilities
· Use business requirements, market research and customer feedback to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements
· Design conceptual sketches, wireframe information architecture, high-fidelity mockups, and interaction specifications
· Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency
· Develop and maintain detailed design patterns that scale for your team and influence other designers
· Lead brainstorming sessions and give presentations to drive design, demonstrating features and flows
· Understand and respond to data (metric tests, usability studies), using that to inform future design

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
· 3+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role
· At least 2 of those years working on mobile design projects
· An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions and patterns on mobile devices
· Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Axure, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar
· Experience working in a collaborative team, publicly white-boarding, and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
· Ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independently
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
