Job description

DESCRIPTION

Have you ever thought about what it takes to detect and prevent fraudulent purchases among hundreds of millions of e-Commerce transactions in different countries? What would you do to create a trusted marketplace where millions of buyers and sellers can safely transact online? We are seeking a UX Designer for Buyer Payment Risk who is passionate about providing exceptional service, thinks globally, and has the ability to contribute innovative ideas to maximize customer satisfaction.

Amazon’s Buyer Payment Risk (BRP) team is constantly innovating new ways of building the next generation of fraud prevention solutions for our Customers. We hold high standards for the experiences we deliver for Customers; our fingerprints are on millions of daily transactions; our employees are smart, passionate about protecting Customers, and fun to work with.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial UX Designer who will help define, build, and deliver customer experiences for payment fraud worldwide. We are building innovative customer-facing products and groundbreaking experiences to help keep our customers safe and build trust. As a UX Designer, you will operate with a high degree of independence and ownership, including areas where the program strategy is still being defined. You will use your judgement and practical experience in UX best practices and processes, product design and data visualization.

You’ll be able to create solutions that scale utilizing multiple tools to communicate your ideas such as user flows, storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and design specifications. Your efforts will be instrumental in delivering innovations that drive business impact by working across teams of Product Managers, software engineers, and business partners.

· Strong time management skills and the ability to provide design leadership-level work independently.
· A bachelor's degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related UX degree is ideal.
· Ability to generate interactive prototypes in HTML, JavaScript, & CSS is a plus.
· Strong sense of ownership as you will own the UX for the full range of tools used to prevent fraud (internal and customer/seller facing)
