Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a leader in cloud computing, is one of the fastest growing businesses and changing the way we interact with the internet.
We are looking for a talented and passionate User Experience Designer to design products and services related to AWS marketing. Our team is a growing band of creatives and problem solvers, that work on great design challenges and make experiences that our customers will use to explore the capabilities of AWS.
You will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and developers to explore, create, and refine ways in which our customers engage with AWS.
The ideal candidate has experience in complex application design, robust holistic thinking, deep attention to detail, and a passion for creating simple and delightful experiences for customers. Collaboration and product ownership is essential, requiring you to be a great communicator, and successfully present and align with a variety of stakeholders. Additionally, you must be able to work with ambiguity and deliver designs that elevate the AWS Marketing customer experience as a whole.

Responsibilities
· Owning the design process, from research, through conceptual design, UX design, testing, and prototyping
· Designing conceptual wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, information architecture diagrams, interaction specifications, and functional prototypes
· Presenting work to stakeholders, developers, and the design community within AWS
· Defining UX/UI patterns and guidelines and writing documentation

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of industry experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar UX-related role
· 3+ years of experience creating prototypes or highly detailed wire-frames for complex web applications
· 5+ years of experience working in direct collaboration with product managers, developers, and stakeholders for implementation of designs
· An online portfolio demonstrating samples of enterprise work and UX deliverables (wireframes, journey maps, personas) is required to apply for this role
· Familiarity with user interface patterns for web and mobile
