Amazon´s Transportation Network Planning team is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and customer obsessed Planning Analyst with strong analytical skills and technology experience to join our Network Planning & Analytics team. The candidate should enjoy diving into data and recommending solutions to enhance the supply chain and drive cost efficiency. Position provides opportunities to influence one of the high visibility/high impact areas in the organization.

This role is based within our MX Headquarters in Santa Fé, Mexico City and includes the responsibilities as follows:

Scope and deliverables:

Monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.

Designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions

Supporting cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existing transportation operations
Participating in multiple projects and/or programs that have influence on carrier configurations and development of carrier performance metrics.
Initiate and support the implementation of process-improvements, both the business processes and the technical solutions.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
· Attention to detail and high ability for data mining.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Experience with MySQL, SQL (Oracle), MS Excel, MS Access and Tableau
· Strong bias for action with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Completed Bachelor’s Degree or certificate of completion of studies in Mathematics, Statistics, Business & Information Technology Engineer, Industrial Engineering or 2+ years of Amazon experience
· Good team player and the ability to work with a wide cross-section of people in various locations
· Creative and ideas-driven in finding new solutions/ designing innovative methods, systems and processes.
