DESCRIPTION

Amazon's Engineering Excellence (EE) group drives adoption of new technical and leadership skills across Amazon's engineering community. We provide Amazon engineers the information they need to build the products and services that delight customers. We are looking for a talented program manager to join our Training Management team. Our team manages our peculiar approach to training, recruiting and maintaining a strong group of volunteer SME trainers and owning the end-to-end customer experience. We advocate for the needs of students at every step. The ideal candidate will come with a passion for the learning space, high customer obsession, and belief in the power of process.

Core Responsibilities:
· Advocate for a high quality physical and virtual classroom experiences for Amazon's internal technical talent
· Coordinate training operations from registration and trainer scheduling to evaluation
· Improve training management workflow and systems (process improvement)
· Ensure quality communications and issue resolution with students before, during and after training
· Contribute to the evolution of Amazon's internal train-the-trainer (Senpai) program: recruiting, managing and coaching hundreds of volunteer SME training facilitators
· Organize train-the-trainer sessions for new facilitators
· Manage key program metrics tracking training attendance and customer feedback
· Manage data in Amazon's Learning Management System (LMS)
· Work with admin and event support teams to create a seamless training experience for students
· Execute community engagement activities with customers and stakeholders
· Assist in putting together corrective actions/ new initiatives to raise the bar on training programs

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of program management experience
· Demonstrated track record of delivering a great customer experience
· Demonstrated ability to improve programs and improve processes
· Bachelor's degree
· Microsoft Office, specifically experience with Outlook calendaring, Excel, and SharePoint
· Ability to travel internationally 0-1 times/year; domestically 1-3 times/year
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong analytic skills, ability to use/develop data to drive decision making
