DESCRIPTION

Amazon Media Group is looking for an experienced systems integration developer to drive automation of processes and manage the integrations to our various business systems for our Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment. This includes configuration, maintenance, administration, and integration with other systems. Additionally, this person will work closely with stakeholders to develop business and technical requirements, and deliver solutions based on those requirements.

The successful candidate must be able to work directly with the system/data, diagnose and resolve technical issues, execute changes or enhancements to existing code, as well as implement custom solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable. They will be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent problem solving abilities. They will deal with highly ambiguous problems, take responsibility for finding solutions, and will drive towards simple solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for developing in Visualforce and Apex and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
· Seek out ways to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
· Translate business requirements into logical, component-based technical designs
· Work closely with the Salesforce System Manager, Developers, and Administrators for understanding the functional and system requirements

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related experience
· 1+ years professional development experience with an MVC framework (examples: Ruby on Rails, Apache Struts, PHP)
· Ability to design, code, test, debug, and maintain software applications
· Proficiency in HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL, Java or C++, REST and/or SOAP-based web services
· Strong understanding of relational databases and has developed a competency around MS SQL Server, MYSQL, or Oracle
· Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
· Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
