DESCRIPTION

The Slapshot team is looking for passionate innovators who are motivated by pushing the boundaries, inventing new solutions, and having companywide impact. As a support engineer on the team, you will have the opportunity to support and participate in a range of projects and operational improvements ranging from backend to front-end. Additionally, you will be applying your skills and learning new ones as you assist technical teams building use cases on a Tier 1 multi-tenant data aggregation and workflow system that handles tens of thousands of transactions per second (TPS) Working on this team will provide you the opportunity to learn about virtually all other systems in the company (CRM, order infrastructure, AWS services, etc.) as well as opportunities to pioneer solutions to high visibility challenges.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
· 2 years plus of distributed system management experience
· Experience with Java, C++ or similar language
· Systems Administration or Development in Linux/Unix environment
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team and technical clients
· Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive
