AmazonFresh is an Amazon.com business offering customers same-day and early morning delivery fresh grocery and local products including hundreds of thousands of Amazon items. The service is currently offered in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle and neighborhood), Northern California, Southern California, New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia. We have aggressive expansion plans beyond these regions. With a huge selection ranging from milk to electronics, customers can order by 10am and have their products delivered by dinner. We obsess over our customers and continuously strive to improve their customer experience. We are constantly expanding Fresh and have a set of exciting new initiatives and formats on AmazonFresh that will change the way our customers interact with us.

As a member of the Fresh Tech Ops team you will play a pivotal role in our expansion plans. You will own procuring, installation and configuration of pre-production and production stacks. You will own configuration changes to promote additional zip, region and fc launches as well as automating these procedures with the goal to drive down expansion times to as near as zero as possible.

As a member of the Fresh Tech Ops team you will also manage trouble tickets through to resolution or escalation using existing documentation, procedures, and tools. You provide detailed data and communications within tickets and tend to over document and over communicate. You work on support projects that require a limited scope or are well documented. You interface with other team's to resolve tickets and complete projects. You generate service metrics using scripts and/or documentation. You become very familiar with the use of monitoring dashboards and applications and use them to determine service issues. You communicate professionally with your team and other teams in your division, knowing when to contribute and when to listen. Your work is accurate and thorough and you strive towards excellence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· You proactively support knowledge-sharing within the team and across your division.
· You have a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.
· Coding/scripting is needed (preferably an object oriented language like Java, Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.)
· Experience with Unix / Linux
· You communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with your team and with other groups. You listen effectively.
