Want to change the way people watch TV? The Prime Video team is shaping the future of digital video entertainment. Our mission is to offer customers the widest selection of digital video content including Amazon Originals and make it trivially easy for them to enjoy it wherever, whenever, and however they want.

The Title Display Experience team's mission is to help customers make a quick and accurate viewing decision by presenting the most relevant information to them. We aim to know everything about everything title in the extensive Prime Video catalog with the goal to only present what is useful to the customer. We do this across all devices and all customer journeys. We use title information to design engaging title discovery experiences. We obsess over our mission by sourcing the most comprehensive, complete and accurate textual information and artwork about all movies and episodic content and continuously experiment to find what helps with the viewing decision.

To help us fulfill this mission, we are looking for a customer-obsessed Sr Technical Product Manager with proven product/tech experience and a passion for video content. You will work on both new, ground-breaking features that differentiate Prime Video as a service while scaling our existing features to as many Prime Video customers as possible. We work in a complex and fast-paced environment often with fixed timelines and so the ability to plan, refine, and make trade-offs is critical along with the ability to write clearly, manage executive communication, and develop clear frameworks for decision-making. You'll work cross functionally with our dedicated tech team (back, front-end, and ML), partner tech teams, UX, business intelligence, operations, marketing, and creative teams to bring products to market and enhance our customer experience.

In the offered position, the Beneficiary will drive the product roadmap and influence the technical architecture of a ML/CV-based matching system that is large-scale, multi-tiered and based on distributed software principles. Duties will also include: gathering business and functional requirements from external and/or internal customers and end-users, and translating requirements into technical specifications to build robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well between a range of complex systems; serving as technical lead throughout the full development lifecycle, end-to-end, from scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery and maintenance; providing design reviews for other engineers, including feedback on architecture and design issues, as well as integration, performance and scalability; and managing resources on multiple technical projects and ensuring schedules, milestones, and priorities are compatible with technology and business goals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
· Experience working in interactive content for movies, tv, and/or sports
· A proven track record of building new, innovative, and engaging customer experiences informed by customer data from various sources (market research, internal data bases, A/B testing, user research)
· Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions (SQL strongly preferred)
· Experience working globally, for a global customer base
· MBA or advanced degree in a related field
· Ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean work environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
· 5+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience
· Bachelor's Degree
· Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
· Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
