Are you looking for an opportunity to re-invent the end to end consumables shopping experience at Amazon? You will have an opportunity to use ML, big data, and experimentation to make Amazon the single best shopping destination for consumables like toothpaste, haircare and diapers. We are the Consumables Customer Experience team. We are a diverse product and engineering team who is working to solve a big complex problem that spans the entire shopping experience. We believe that an ideal candidate would be able to bring their own personal experience and use their deep passion for the customer to help solve customer problems and issues. Our team is focused on reinventing on behalf of our customers to build the most innovative consumables shopping experience in the world and we want you to join our team.

In this role, you will help define the end to end shopping experience for consumable items. You will define the experiments and products that can make a different for our customers. You will shape strategy and have an opportunity to socialize and influence stakeholders that touch every aspect of Amazon's core shopping experience. You will coordinate with the technical team and design teams, monitor and react to customer feedback, and constantly experiment to improve the experience. This role requires product management expertise, strong leadership skills and business judgement.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years product management experience in a technological industry
· 3+ years experience in consumer-facing online commerce, wireless content, or mobile services
· Bachelor's degree required
· Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap
· Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly websites and customer-facing features
· Excellent communication and persuasion skills; demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold vision
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with pro-forma financial and operational analysis
· Implementation orientation; demonstrated ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and detailed product requirements
· Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members
· Proven ability to make smart feature (customer experience) versus time-to-market trade-offs; experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value
· Nimbleness and comfort with ambiguity; comfort responding quickly to rapidly evolving threats and opportunities
· Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Street smarts; willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals
· Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence versus direct management; excellent interpersonal skills
· Experience managing agile software development with scrum preferred
· Experience managing small teams preferred
· MBA
