Job description

DESCRIPTION

This position reports to the HR Manager and will interact with all levels within the organization. This team member will support all areas of human resources including recruiting, benefits, payroll and employee relations. This position is located at the Kennewick, WA Customer Service Site and works as part of an on-site strategic HR business partner team.
· Ensure data integrity in HRIS (Peoplesoft) systems by communicating with the Employee Relations Center.
· Completing and distributing daily and weekly HR analytics to support the Customer Service Business.
· Assist internal customers with onboarding, recruitment and benefits, etc.
· Assist associates with general employee relations inquiries to ensure associate engagement
· Liaison between site associates, payroll, leave of absence team, workflow and leadership to ensure a positive experience for associates.
· Provide unemployment insurance information to third-party vendor and represent the site for unemployment insurance claims as appropriate.
· Assist Recruiting team as necessary (new hire orientations, interview loops and coordination)
· Own the HR portion of new hire training and onboarding.
· Calculate turnover metrics for salaried and hourly associates.
· Organize all HR department electronic records, e-employment files and other confidential records. · Maintain HR data/records (spreadsheets, files, etc.) related to workers compensation, LOA, stock, attrition, etc.
· Effectively communicate to the site regarding benefits, general HR information, morale related events and HR updates.
· All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent post-secondary degree
· Experience with MS Word, Excel, Access
· Previous experience with Payroll Systems, HRIS
· 3+ years' exposure to the human resources functions OR 1+ years of Amazon Leadership experience.
· Flexibility to work overtime both in peak season and as needed
· Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
