AWS Marketplace is seeking an experienced Communications and Events Operations Manager for help building Worldwide AWS Marketplace Communications and to manage Events Operations in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
This role supports the Worldwide AWS Marketplace Go-to-Market (GTM) and Digital Demand Generation Team for internal Communications and regional EMEA Events. Your success will be measured by creating, training, and managing the worldwide GTM and Campaigns Team on a Quarterly Calendar, and creating and producing internal programs to improve divisional transparency. In addition, the role will regionally support Operations behind EMEA Events Logistics, successfully project managing event participation, internal staffing, promotion, and legal and tax requirements.
You will work closely with the AWS Marketplace EMEA Business Team, EMEA Amazon Web Services (AWS) marketing teams, product and solutions marketing managers, etc. You will manage the logistical execution of 3rd Party and key AWS-led events (production, staging, demand generation, and lead follow-up etc.) in partnership with our local agencies of record.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage the operational components required in the event planning cycle
- Liaise with AWS Marketplace internal stakeholders on event strategy and staffing
- Build event marketing enablement materials in partnership with internal and external sources
- Build and help Execute Post-event Demand Generation Play book
- Evaluate, measure and report on strategic effectiveness of the overall event
- Work with AWS Marketplace GTM and Digital Campaigns teams to align the internal marketing communications strategy
- Work with AWS Marketplace GTM and Digital Campaigns teams to create, produce and manage the WW Global Campaigns Calendar
You will utilize deep event marketing and communications expertise, exceptional project management and collaboration skills to manage the event planning and ensure all relevant stakeholders are working together to deliver a great experience for AWS Marketplace current and potential customers. You will have previous experience in managing a global communications program and implementing a World Wide communications system.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of event marketing and communications, proven success in planning and executing global technology events, solid project management skills, and strong attention to detail and have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. ** For more information on AWS, please visit http://aws.amazon.com **

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of relevant experience in event marketing
· 3+ years of relevant experience in internal Company Communications
· Experience managing global marketing calendars
· Bachelor's degree in business, operations, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study
· Experience working with global field marketing teams in the planning and execution of events
· Experience leading and successfully delivering large-scale events
