Job description

DESCRIPTION

We are Amazon; we pioneer.
Since opening our virtual doors in 1995, we've been pushing the boundaries of possible further and further.

Our entire business works hard to delight our customers – from the second an order is placed online to the seamless coordination of that order behind the scenes, we strive to stay agile, fluid and intentional. That can be described in one of our core Leadership Principles, which is Bias for Action. This means that our teams band together, roll up their sleeves, and aren't content with just standing still. We're aiming to become the most customer-centric company on Earth.

That's why we're seeking a Sortation Supervisor to join our Logistics team.

Potential Shift Patterns include:

Sunday - Wednesday 12:00-22:30 h (40hrs)
Wednesday - Saturday 12:00-22:30 h (40hrs)
Monday-Friday 14:00 till 22:30h (40hrs)

Your responsibilities:

As Sortation Supervisor, your team will be looking to you for motivation, inspiration and constructive feedback. The kind of guidance that drives their productivity and desire to meet and exceed targets. Together, you'll excel in maximising the efficiency of our growing, world-class Fulfillment & Operations network.

Our Logistics department is a fluid, intentional, fast-paced environment. Therefore, you'll need to be able to effectively operate in a high speed, high reward context. This will come alongside scheduling the effective movement of vehicles and ensuring accurate arrivals and departures, as well as supporting the daily management of departmental duties.

On a daily basis, you'll carry out daily communication briefs with your team. We are looking to deliver stellar levels of customer satisfaction: you'll need to ensure effective resourcing of your area. This will include the identifying training needs of your team.

Furthermore, you'll remain committed to positive development of the personnel you oversee: you'll deliver ongoing coaching as you encourage everyone to perform at their best. Continuous monitoring of overall department productivity will be key to your progress as a supervisor.
