As a full stack Software Development Engineer, you'll build services that have huge impact on how customers, even friends and family, engage with Amazon.

We created our team to explore new ways for Amazon customers to complete common shopping tasks quicker, browse more efficiently, and discover new features. You will create reliable, scalable, and high performance products and have a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must have a Bachelor in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Possess an extremely sound understanding of areas in Computer Science such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Databases.
• Be able to write Amazon quality code in an object oriented language, and have the flexibility to switch between different coding languages and tools.
• Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
• Candidate must have good written and oral communication skills, be a fast learner and have the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced development environment.
