The Amazon Alexa Skills Store is seeking a Software Development Engineer to be a member of a cross-functional team focused on building monetization platform for skills on Alexa. You will work among an experienced engineering team with opportunities to lead the charge as we play a major role in the evolution of Alexa. By building cutting-edge, data-driven features you will be creating new experiences on the world's most advanced speech platform. No matter what the role, we're looking for entrepreneurs who are passionate about innovating on behalf of customers, demonstrate a high degree of product ownership, and want to have fun while they make history.

Key Responsibilities:
· Leadership of engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach to complex problems and mentor team members on their appropriate application
· Key contributor to the overall systems and software development life-cycle
· Ownership of projects that operate cross-functionally with multiple engineering, design and product teams
· Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against defined schedules and milestones

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of industry experience.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
· Experience with object oriented programming languages such as Java, C++ or C#
