Our Amazon Business Customers and Sellers have different needs than the traditional Amazon Customer so we are reinventing everything from how we display our selection, price our products, and provide the right customer experience. Like any marketplace, Sellers drive the business by creating desired selection and Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA - https://www.youtube.com/user/FulfillmentbyAmazon) is an Amazon service that allows Seller to use Amazon fulfillment system as a service to enjoy increased sales and conversion. 71% of sellers who use FBA report more than a 20% increase in unit sales after joining FBA and thus, FBA has been a natural driver to fuel growth in Amazon Business.

Amazon Business FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) team is looking for innovative engineer who wants to take part in this exciting phase to design & build systems that will enable every Sellers to grow their business in Amazon Business (AB) marketplace. We are looking for Software Development Engineer who wants to disrupt the way businesses purchase their supplies today.

As a Software Development Engineer (SDE), you will not only be solving complex problems, but also will engage with the team in designing and building systems to bring business sellers into the FBA network and increasing selection. You will contribute in the design of tools and process of how we can expand networks and fulfillment systems beyond their current reach and build the next generation systems that touch our Seller's lives. Our team is going to build highly scalable distributed systems that will interact with entire life cycle of a product at Amazon. Our focus will be on building solutions to enable B2B customers to research, discover and buy business products in large catalogs; across multiple devices, marketplaces and regions. Our customers include individual professionals, businesses and institutions that buy in either high frequency or in bulk quantities. Our customers have different needs than the traditional Amazon customer base.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BS in Computer Science or related degree (Master's or Ph. D. preferred) along with 3+ years of relevant experience
· Proficiency in object oriented programming in Java, C#, or C++
· Knowledge of Computer Science Fundamentals (data structures, OO design, algorithms, and problem solving)
· Demonstrated innovation
· Comfortable working in a lean, rapidly iterative product development process
· Demonstrated delivery of large-scale, initially-ambiguous projects
