DESCRIPTION

Are you interested in creating innovative new marketing programs for cross-site shopping events that directly benefit millions of customers? Do you have a keen sense for what makes a good deal and how to market it to customers? The Consumer Marketing team is seeking a self-motivated, creative Site Merchandiser to develop and execute customer-focused cross-site event strategies for Amazon.com. We are looking for an experienced leader who is flexible, biased for action, detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoys working with others to execute in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in merchandising/marketing and will be comfortable identifying and describing product features that will eliminate manual work while driving measurable improvements to our Deals & Events business.

Key Responsibilities

· Work cross-functionally, managing bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making trade-offs, balancing business needs versus technical constraints, and maximizing business benefits while building excellent customer experiences.
· Drive merchandising and customer-experience projects to completion by working with retail teams, project managers, engineers, product teams, and designers.
· Create and manage execution of themed marketing programs across Amazon including ownership for all editorial content, marketing, and merchandising.
· Compile, analyze, and present performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve programs.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Demonstrated program, project, and/or product management experience
· Basic XML/HTML skills
· 3+ years experience defining program requirements and driving large, cross-functional programs to completion
· 3+ years experience in a similar role in Marketing Industry
BA/BS required
