We are building a new solution, leveraging Salesforce, to serve these authors by solving their problems and removing friction from their publishing process. Beyond that, this solution is set to serve numerous businesses around Amazon beyond Books, extending the reach of your impact to new sets of customers.
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Developer to help us design, develop, and maintain this new solution. In this role, you will lead multiple technical projects to build custom functionality on top of Salesforce to support multiple Amazon businesses. Your solutions will need to be highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable. You will help integrate between Salesforce and multiple internal Amazon systems and work with a variety of Salesforce environments including Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. You will be joining an emerging and highly motivated team tasked with implementing an influential core internal service with great opportunity for growth.

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II
Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
4+ years of experience developing in Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Lightning Design and Visualforce pages
Experience with Lightning
Experience with advanced security configuration of the Force.com platform
Results-oriented individual with a focus on delivery a high bar and strong organization skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
Highly inventive, flexible and self-directed
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Advanced Excel skills (Macro, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field and experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience developing in Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Lightning Design and Visualforce pages
Minimum 1+ year experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
