World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) Training is looking for an experienced Sales Trainer who is great fun to work with, because at Amazon Web Services, our motto is, “Work hard. Have fun. Make history.” We are looking for an energetic and dynamic individual to collaborate with the global training team and own execution in a global role.

We are seeking a top performer to deliver training in a compelling manner, which helps create enthusiasm for Amazon Web Services and confidence in engaging Public Sector customers. In this role you will keep the sales team informed on new training methods, conduct reverse job-shadowing, providing guidance within the sales organization to share best practices. This person will be keeping our sales organization informed on new training methods and techniques, while also supporting adhoc sales training and special projects as needed. Ideal candidates will have a background in sales with a deep expertise in developing and facilitating sales training's.

This position is an independent contributor, where at times you will have to develop and design your own content, through facilitation in a classroom setting. In this role, you will deliver sales and soft skills training to internal AWS WWPS Sales teams. You will have an opportunity to combine a passion for teaching/coaching and enthusiasm for technology, to drive learning and establish positive customer relationships with new and tenured sales employees. You will also work closely with many stakeholders (leaders, sellers, subject matter experts, other trainers) to discover and meet the training needs of the organization.

You will:
· Create, execute, and manager global sales training and soft skills workshops for new and existing WWPS Sales teams; support specific onboarding and everboarding (continuing education) training needs, add content to existing programs, develop, and deliver new content.
· Conduct employee training using a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods, including classroom-based and virtual learning to create an engaging learner experience
· Continuously conduct needs assessments (in close coordination with stakeholders from leadership, marketing, product teams, etc.) to ensure accurate, effective training content
· Provide guidance within the sales organization and share best practices
· Keep informed of new training methods and techniques
· Support ad hoc sales training/enablement special projects as needed

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and industry experience
· 5+ years of proven sales training/facilitation, experience coaching/developing new and tenured Sales Professionals
· 5+ years of proven content development skills
· 5+ years of demonstrated implementation of multiple sales methodologies
· 2+ years of sales or business development experience with a history of success and overachieving quota
· 2+ years creating, managing, and reporting on training program metrics
· Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50-60% of the time
