Join the Recruiting Analytics and Data (RAD) team to help us design business intelligence solutions for Recruiting Teams across the globe. Amazon has a culture of data-driven decision-making, and demands business intelligence that is timely, accurate, and actionable for users at all levels. Amazon is growing, placing a huge amount of responsibility on the recruiting teams to keep up with that hiring demand. RAD's job is to equip these teams with data on the health of our recruiting organization, bottlenecks in our process and insights on to how to continually improve candidate experience.
Here at Amazon everyone plays a role in the recruiting process and therefore, our solutions have to be designed to meet the need of different customers with different needs. RAD's goal is to shape the future of analytics for our expanding global teams. Your goal will be to gather feedback from all of our customers to recommend solutions that answer their questions. You will help us tell a cohesive story blending costs, workforce planning and productivity. And not only that, you will be responsible for designing how this is rolled out across our various recruiting software technologies. As a Recruiting Business Intelligence Engineer, we need your help to build the roadmap for recruiting data at Amazon. This isn't easy – much of this work will be starting from scratch or attempting to tie together varied best practices across decentralized, global teams.

BUT you are joining at just the right time as we are beginning to transition to new innovative AWS products (e.g. S3, Redshift, QuickSight) that make accessing, transforming and visualizing data so much easier. You will also be coming in right as we are beginning to launch research project for optimizing our efficiency. You will have an opportunity to learn from other research scientists and engineers working on unique projects across HR. You will build products used internally by thousands of customers. You will solve complex analytical problems joining data from disparate data sources. And you won't be alone. Our RAD team includes other engineers and analysts— all of whom will be partners for you in realizing our vision and enabling the growth at Amazon that's critical for our customers. You're just right for this role because you like diving into data, learning new tools and having a global impact!

Other Responsibilities:
· Own migration strategy of Tableau products to AWS Quicksight
· Design future roadmap of self-service reporting for global recruiting
· Writes SQL to Extract and Transform Data from Databases
· Develop ETLs to automate data integrations from internal and external HR systems
· Interacts directly with customers, understands their questions and needs and translates into analytical requirements.
· Explores and Analyzes Data to Find Patterns and Understand Relationships

QUALIFICATIONS DE BASE

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or related field
· 3-5 years of industry experience
· Advanced SQL querying
· Advanced expertise in Excel
· Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy
· Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets
· Demonstrated strength in data modeling, ETL development, and Data warehousing. Data Warehousing
· Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively develop and communicate clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses.

QUALIFICATIONS APPRÉCIÉES

· Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or related field
· 5+ years industry experience
· Familiar with HR, Finance or people-related data
· Familiar with Redshift, Hadoop, Java Technical proficiency in programs such as R, SAS, SPSS or Stata
· Proven capability in statistical analysis (e.g., ability to conduct analyses using regression, modeling, forecasting approaches, and related tools)
· Experience with Machine Learning Techniques to Understand Data Patterns and Make Predictions
· Experience with programming tools (Java, Python, HTML, R, etc.) to create custom applications based upon analytical needs.
