Interested in creating and testing novel experiences for our Alexa-devices-with-a-screen such as Echo Show and Echo Spot? Then we’re looking for you! Our devices are touchscreen-enabled and support video calling, music, weather, clocks, alarms, and many more experiences. They are backed by our Alexa engine, so they weave voice and touch interaction together to create a delightful integrated experience. We're delivering many new novel applications and devices every year, come join us! As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer on the Echo Software Team, you will work with our team of hands-on, pro-active, self-motivated and seasoned QA professionals. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
· Create test plans and test cases
· Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality
· Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products
· Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines
· Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
· Automate test cases through writing scripts on testing frameworks
· Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
· Work with engineering to understand overall technical architecture and how features are implemented

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with UI testing and mobile testing, such as on Android · Experience with testing consumer devices · Experience coding in Java, Java Script, and/or Python. · Experience operating within 1-3 week release cycles

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 6+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
· Experience in manual testing
· Experience in automation testing
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent · Experience in testing methodologies and standard QA and development tools · Experience in QA automation
