DESCRIPTION

The Remedy Developer will work with Amazon and BMC professionals to modify system architecture in support of a rapidly expanding ITSM environment, implement proven ITSM performance tuning activities, validate and document ITSM processes & procedures. Projects will include a Remedy for a very large production Remedy Server Group. Serve as a subject-matter expert (SME) on all aspects of BMC Remedy ITSM modules, processes, and understands the interdependencies across all ITSM and its effect on the legacy Remedy system. Ensures the knowledge base is continually updated as required. Position responsibilities include internal application development, and close collaboration with Business SMEs and Project Managers (PMs) to understand requirements, design, and implement ITSM System enhancements and upgrades.

Responsibilities:
· Design, build, and enhance Remedy Workflows for a large scale Remedy Server Group.
· Identify and troubleshoot recurring platform issues and own projects to drive improvements.
· Participate in code reviews.
· Oncall rotation 1 out of 4 weeks to respond to high severity events.
· Create and review documentation; design new standard operating procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Remedy AR System Version 8.1.02
· Remedy AR System Version 9.1 Release 1805 or Release 1908
· Experience using and troubleshooting Linux or Unix based systems
· Experiencing troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a distributed environment.
· Basic Web Development experience (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
· Programming Languages: Java, HTML, XML, ARS

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant discipline or combination of education and experience 5+ yrs overall IT experience
· 5+ years of Extensive Implementation/Development knowledge on BMC Remedy Versions 8.1 and greater
· Experience with SQL
· Experience with Remedy using the Oracle DB
