Key job responsibilities
Major Responsibilities:
· Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in accurately estimating freight cost and ensure invoice accuracy
· Create a “learn by doing” environment by engaging with financial analysts and business partners to promote and encourage continued customer focus and cost reduction
· Work with technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely
· Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations
· Analyze and solve business problems at their root
· Statistical analysis models to predict bad behaviors in system and correcting it through solutions
· Data driven decision making in ambiguous situations
· Perform detailed analysis of operations and technology by identifying trends. Should be able to scope the impact and opportunities to scale
· Create and support effective development plans to prepare employees for their next role, including identifying and grooming potential successors
· Developing metrics for continuous tracking of process efficiency and helping the leadership for data based fast decision making
· Simplifying operational and financial complexities through innovative long term solutions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years experience in program or project management
· Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
· 3+ years experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Basic Qualifications:
Requirements:
· An MBA or a Graduate with overall 3-5 years of Operation/ Finance/Supply chain background or Technology Operations, managing cross-functional teams with tight deadlines.
· Experience in interacting with wide set of stakeholders – Operations, Technology and Business Leaders
· Experience in handling big data with an hands on experience on data visualization tool such as Tableau
· Excellent Program Management skills with an ability to influence to meet goals
· Sound business judgment, ability to influence others, and analytical thinking skills are critical for this position
· Demonstrated skills in employee development, performance management and delivering results.
· Proven experience in innovative business practices that have been game changing for business evolution
· Ability to build strategy and execute it with speed and drive continuous improvements
· Good problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze quantitatively and effectively prioritize program deliverables are essential
· Good presentation and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build effective partnerships with senior leaders across a variety of groups throughout Amazon

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA and/ or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) + relevant experience
· Proven experience within a Logistics, Transportation, or Distribution Center processes and systems
· Advanced problem solving and root cause analysis combined with proven ability to communicate those analysis
· Highly analytical, detail oriented and good business sense; ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions
· Manage and prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, growing and ambiguous environment
· Project Management Skills
· Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Tableau, MSAccess, Essbase and/or Cognos) and other financial systems such (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
