Job description

DESCRIPTION

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth and to grow in a safe environment for both our Customers and our Associates. To get there, we need bright, dynamic, and driven people. If you'd like to help us build a place where you can find and buy anything online, this is your chance to make history.

We are looking for an Audit and Risk Program Manager to support the global Restricted Products Program, which prevents the listing of products which are illegal, offensive, or goes against Amazon policy from being listed on the Amazon websites. The Audit and Risk Manager will work cross-functionally with legal, business and other program stakeholders, across multiple regions, to identify, operationalize and manage upstream audit compliance initiatives and implement risk detection and mitigation processes and systems.

An ideal candidate will combine a passion for protecting customers, an ability to think big, and the aptitude to solve complex and unstructured problems. This is a new position that requires the ability to independently query and analyze large data sets, identify areas of risk, and develop initiatives to scale existing policies and processes to reduce/eliminate risk.

Responsibilities:
· Conduct website audits to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies, work with internal team members globally to share findings and suggestions for process improvements.
· Mine data sets, evaluate areas of risk, and identify root causes and tooling gaps to improve processes, quality and/or build mechanisms to address and monitor the risk.
· Own the execution of building and scaling audit mechanisms/process improvements.
· Work with Legal and business stakeholders to prioritize work based on risk and customer's needs.
· Provide formal updates to internal and external stakeholders that include key metrics, performance against program goals, status of ongoing initiatives and forward looking areas of risk.
