The Amazon Alexa Org is looking for entrepreneurial, innovative individuals who thrive on solving tough problems. As a Data Collection Program Manager at Alexa, you will be working with science and research teams to define project goals and requirements, and working with a team of program managers, engineers, technicians, and researchers to drive projects to delivery. Having an eye for process improvement is critical as you will drive the expansion of our suite of tools and testing processes, assessing scope, diving into technical dependencies, and managing all related timelines.
· Work with various internal teams for project planning that includes collecting requirements, evaluating alternatives, and developing processes and tools
· Partner closely with the research teams, engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholder teams to develop specifications for projects and ensure they can be executed effectively
· Challenge the status quo and fosters shared understanding, transparency, mastery, autonomy, innovation and continuous learning
· Manage operations of the projects including schedule, budget, logistics, staffing and resource/equipment planning
· Act as a liaison between research, Hardware, Software teams ensuring there is alignment and all parties are contributing to the program objectives
· Use data and metrics to back up assumptions, make recommendations and drive actions
· Continuously evaluate and refine tools and processes to ensure they are efficient, high quality, and scalable
· Lead efforts to identify risks, resolve key project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution paths

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
· 3+ years as a Project or Program Manager.
· Experience of mentoring people/managing people by influence
