DESCRIPTION

The Amazon DSP team is investing in its Worldwide Online Display Advertising business to achieve the goal of becoming the leading solution for advertisers. To reach this goal, the team are looking for Program Analyst who will be responsible for driving adoption of Amazon advertising products across Amazon’s Managed and Self Service businesses through: 1.) trends analysis at network level and defining recommendations for campaign performance improvement, 2.) testing of performance improvements through experimentation and analysis of test campaign results through statistical methods, 3.) best practices tools and campaign templates development and ownership.

Specific responsibilities include:

· Own Network Analysis for Campaign Templates and Performance Trends
o Proactively monitor campaign templates performance is meeting or exceeding advertiser goals or platform benchmarks.
o Identify improvements to campaign templates that are not meeting expectations and ideate recommendations for improvement of templates through experimentation.
o Identify opportunities through performance trends for driving incremental performance for advertisers and drive experimentation of solutions to maximise those opportunities and secure revenue growth.

· Drive Performance through Campaign Experimentation
o Carry out reactive and proactive experimentation of campaigns. At reactive level – scope and design an internal campaign test. Own running of the test or assist a test owner with understanding of experimentation and test execution. At proactive level – ideate, scope and design an internal test. · Own Best Practices Record through Ownership of the DSP Tools
o Through analysis of historic campaign performance, identify best practice for how to use Amazon media products to drive successful campaigns that can be scaled to Managed and Self-Service customers.
o Utilise results of historic campaign performance analysis for improvements to playbook / campaign set-up, carry out testing of campaign template through campaign experimentation.
o Coordinate implementation of results from successful experiments in the DSP best practices tools.
o Own enhancement of DSP best practices tools and develop new tools for DSP team.
o Curate and consolidate product enhancements or new products based on network expertise and feed this back to Amazon Product and Machine Learning Management teams.

· Campaign Deep Dive Analysis and Support
o Work closely with customer facing teams to influence outreach strategies and behaviour.
o Support customer facing teams, influence the allocation of advertising budgets to Amazon via face to face engagement with internal, and if required external, stakeholders.
o Support internal teams who have hands-on responsibility for campaign performance by providing deeper data analysis and recommendations.

· Not in scope
o Regular day to day campaign optimization and reporting, however, aspects of campaign management through ownership of experimentation orders are present.

Success Indicators:
· Being regarded as a network analysis and experimentation specialist and valued resource for stakeholders.
· Driving adoption of Amazon media products.
· Driving campaign revenue growth and success metrics.
· Creation of actionable insights into assigned network analysis using internal and external data sources.
· Smooth operation of owned best practices tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Advanced SQL, Quicksight dashboard building skills and Python scripting.
· Master’s degree in a numerate discipline, preferably statistics.
· Experience in online advertising and ad technologies with hands-on experience in executing programmatic digital media campaigns.
· A passionate advocate for customers and their needs.
· Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary.

· Experience working with digital advertising platforms, campaign execution and optimization strategies.
· Strong analytical skills. SQL.
· Advanced Excel skills.
· Strong project management and organizational skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication abilities: must effectively communicate with technical and non-technical people.
· Bachelor's Degree in a numerate discipline.
