Amazon is searching for a highly skilled and multi-tasking Production Assistant to provide administrative support to the Photo Studio Producer team. The Studio Production function is a family of roles that oversees the planning, sourcing, and coordination of talent to deliver world-class product imagery and promotional marketing materials. This team is the primary contact for external creative contributors and is responsible for meeting creative requirements within the scope of budgetary resources and operational requirements.

The successful candidate will be an efficient professional who is self-starting, accurate, highly organized, flexible and reliable. He or she will have great follow-through and the demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is key. The Production Assistant will maintain model and photography crew talent databases and support monthly model castings. He/she will coordinate on-boarding paperwork for all new incoming talent as determined by Producer team, distribute call sheets, enter information into the studio's scheduling tool and assist with data requests for financial and labor tracking. The Photo Studio Production Assistant will also partner with Operations associates to monitor incoming merchandise in order to balance crew schedules with product demands.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintains Production calendars.
· Maintains up to date talent databases of external freelancers.
· Compiles information for the casting and talent selection and talent review process.
· Partners with Casting Producer to plan, schedule and facilitate regular model castings and update casting information into database.
· Ensures all talent has been checked in for daily scheduled shoots.
· Partners with Merchandise Coordination to perform daily scheduled floor walks/set check-ins.
· Manages all paperwork and contracts associated with acquiring new talent and vendors per guidelines established by Global Production processes.
· Supports Producers with crew, talent, location booking coverage as needed.
· May act as a studio concierge for all out of town talent by coordinating transportation, accommodations, and monitoring all arrival & departure information.
· May support financial tracking by assisting with invoicing and reconciling expenses
· Partners with studio teams to monitor incoming merchandise flow to balance talent needs with merchandise demands.
· Partners across the team to trouble shoot and ensure that deadlines are met
· Contributes to knowledge management tools such as wikis and shared drives, is continuously learning, seeking mentors and sharing knowledge with other team members.
· Assists with creating training and SOP materials.
· Support 5S initiatives regarding studio workflow and processes.
· Identifies process improvement opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

· College degree.
· Experience and understanding of photo studio production operation, roles and talent booking procedures.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with management and outside vendors.
· Proficiency with database management tools.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
· Excellent English proficiency (written and verbal).
· Works well under deadline pressure: this position will require adaptability to ever-changing operational demands, with ability to re-focus and develop options for quick changes in projects.
· Self-driven and exceptional work ethic, with an instinctual tendency towards order and detail, and the proven ability to handle intensive schedule coordination.
· Proficient working knowledge of Mac and PC computing platforms, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, issues and project tracking software.
