Compliance Team means…
…safety. We ensure that Amazon transactions satisfy legal and safety requirements. We coordinate the aspects of product transactions that are regulated (distribution, shipping, sale, import/export, storage) which means many of activities you can find below.

In this role, you will…
… be responsible for the classification of ASINs in our catalog that can be safely stored in the Fulfilment Center’s and shipped to customer while safely meeting all local laws and regulations. In the Restricted Products, we also prevent the sale of items that either Amazon chooses not to sell or are prohibited by law or regulations.

Your core responsibilities…
· Manage complicated cross-functional projects focusing on product compliance regulation
· Develop best-in-class processes and systems, and drive continual improvement.
· Drive scalable business solutions which ensure compliance with consumer product regulations
· Work cross-functionally and manage compliance training and awareness raising programs in operations teams.
· Work with various teams within Amazon to execute strategy, seek automation opportunities and leverage technologies.
· Work with Amazon’s internal technology teams to develop creative and best-in-class business processes that can scale up.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Masters Degree in business, finance, engineering or similar graduate degree such as a law degree.
· Experience working in compliance or heavily regulated product industry
· Excellent writing skills - ability to propose complex solutions and explanations in writing;
· Demonstrated skill and passion for problem solving and operational excellence;
· Exceptional organizational skills, self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting;
· Comfortable working with and presenting to business leadership on escalations and problem solving;
· Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team, including adherence to core values and dynamic corporate culture.
· A basic understanding of web technologies and database structures;
· Experience working cross-functionality with stakeholders in multiple countries

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering or similar graduate degree such as a law degree
· 1 - 3 years of program/project management experience
· 1 - 2 years understanding how to troubleshoot and describe complex technical processes and issues to non-technical colleagues
· Excellent writing skills - ability to propose complex solutions and explanations in writing;
