The EU Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) Team is responsible for driving step-change improvements in the performance of Amazon's European Operations from vendor to customer. We work backwards from the customer and define new innovative solutions that raise the bar on customer experience and speed whilst constantly lower our cost of fulfillment and supporting our continued high growth.

This is a very exciting time to join the European ACES PE team under the leadership of a newly appointed EU PE Director. The team will work on the top strategic projects and opportunities across the European operations influencing business-critical decisions and taking the performance of the operations to the next level through variation reduction.

The EU ACES Process Engineering team is looking for exceptionally talented Business Analyst to be part of the core team within ACES PE. The role(s) will report into the Six Sigma Master Black Belt. This position will be responsible for conducting analysis of data and other information, compiling business oriented recommendations and driving consensus across stakeholder groups. The Analyst will work in both independent/ team formats with the Core and Field Engineers. The Analyst will be responsible for developing standardized report mechanisms, FC analysis and cost reporting support ranging from real time inputs through strategic YoY views. As a key member of the EU ACES Process Engineering team you are formulating the data into information that drives improvement of operational performance.

This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities and business acumen, with exceptional written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of different business and cost models and the underlying analytics, and the ability to assimilate new methodologies and data sources. They will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, vocally self-critical, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain or related field
· Experience in an operational environment with proven ability to thoroughly understand processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive change
· Experience in data driven process/error analysis
· Knowledge of how to read, change and write SQL code to extract information from various databases
· Familiar with workbook automation via VBA in Excel
· Distinctive analytical and mathematical competence
· Ability to explain data in line with process flow to other people/project managers
· Good communication skills
· High value on the accuracy of your work, and diligently ensure the quality of your data
· Fluent in English
