Sr. TPM, Alexa Connect Kit

DESCRIPTION

Alexa Connect Kit (ACK) is a new service that spans hardware, firmware, cloud services, and end-customer experience components to provide device manufacturers an easy, fast, and economical way to create Alexa-connected smart home devices. The Principal TPM for ACK will report to the program lead and drive all technical sub-programs and milestones across the ACK roadmap and technology stack.

On a typical day in this role you might:
· Lead a technical design session for a crucial piece of Alexa infrastructure
· Present a program review to senior Amazon executives
· Manage a roadmap of product deliveries across 50+ tech teams
· Work directly with customers (device manufacturers) to better understand product requirements
· Design a scaling plan to grow a given service 50x
· Work with Product Managers to create a new Amazon-branded smart home device

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience delivering IoT services
· Deep knowledge of firmware
· World-class written and verbal communication
· Proven ability to rapidly scale a service
· Background delivering successful with SaaS or PaaS products from inception to scale
· Ability to operate strategically and make high-leverage decisions independently and expertly
· Demonstrated record of delivering complex technology products across massive teams
· Maniacal focus on quality, security, and the customer

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 10+ years of experience as a TPM in a related field
· 3+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum
· A Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or a similar field
