Amazon Web Services is looking for highly talented and technical Industrial IT/OT solution architect to help customers accelerate their own success in the AWS Cloud. This architect position will join the Global Solutions Architecture team focused on AWS's most critical Industrial customer requirements. Solution Architects engage in a wide variety of work streams for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer and our partners. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.

We are looking for someone who will be passionate about architecting Industrial digital transformation solutions. In this role you will be responsible for helping our global customers to maximize their value of IT/OT on AWS cloud investments by working with partners and our product teams, developing reference architectures and sample implementations for specific customer needs. These services will promote digital transformation and innovation in our customer's Industrial workloads on AWS environments.
Your focus will be on building tools and automation that help global customers to operate and manage IT/OT landscapes on AWS as well as to develop solutions that will help customers extend their existing investments with AWS cloud services such as Serverless computing, Analytics, Big Data, Mobile, IoT, AI and Machine Learning. Success in this role will require your technical, industry and consulting skills to navigate through customer's complex technology landscape and developing compelling solutions to accelerate the business benefits of our customer's migration to AWS cloud.
Roles & Responsibilities:

As a key member of the AWS Global Account Team, you will act as an Amazon ambassador in customer engagements.
· Work with partners (System Integrators and Independent Software Vendors) to build solution offerings for IT/OT application extensions using AWS
· Act as a subject matter expert in your areas of expertise, drive enablement workshops for customers, partners and internal field teams
· Collaborate with AWS product, account and engineering teams to build native AWS solutions to support OT/IT application extensions
· Publish white papers, blogs and speak at technology conferences to educate and enable the customer and partner technology teams
· Initiate, run and execute Industrial PoCs, Pilots and usecases of IT/OT on AWS at the customer

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 10+ years of consulting or implementation experience, integrating industrial solutions (on premise or cloud) with digital technologies.
· Hands on experience in Integration tools and frameworks, security frameworks and data migrations.
· Working knowledge of any of the following - Relational and NoSQL databases, Cloud-native application development, Big data analytics, fundamentals of AWS Solutions, Serverless computing, Real-time streaming applications, Integration middleware, API Gateways, Mobile development, Internet of Things, Machine Learning.
· Hands-on development experience using Java and/or C++ is preferred.
· Strong customer and partner facing consulting skills. Ability to fine tune your message for both technical and business audience.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
· The right person will possess 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries and demonstrate a strong understanding of industrial applications and security.
· This position is based in Germany
· Travel up to 25% may be required
· BS level technical degree required; Computer Science or Math background preferred.
