Designed and custom-built by Amazonians, our Just Walk Out Shopping experience uses a variety of technologies including computer vision, sensor fusion, and deep learning. You will partner with Store Designers, Digital Designers, Brand Designers, Engineers, Software Developers, and Product Managers to invent the future of Just Walk Out Shopping experiences. Key Responsibilities include design problem definition, requirements definition, concept development, iterating and optimizing the vision for your initiatives, developing design success and measurement criteria, value engineering, system and framework design, and determining launch and multi-store strategies for your ID initiatives.

Key responsibilities:
· Work with development partners to create solutions that meet a high customer experience bar and fit with the technology requirements
· Deliver detailed design documentation and refined design standards to developers and partners
· Solicit and accept feedback, weigh inputs and priorities, and take part in constructive dialogue to resolve healthy debates

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS degree in Industrial Design or Product Design
· 10+ years related experience in home, retail, commercial, industrial, mobile consumer electronics or related industry with an emphasis on Human Interaction design
· Extraordinary Industrial Design portfolio of shipped work demonstrating impactful functional design, aesthetic judgement, customer and business results
· Education in HCI, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Ergonomics, or related fields strongly preferred.
· May be substituted with significant demonstrated industry experience and accomplishments (e.g. CMFs or technical design roles for exhibits, film, or television)
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate design concepts and relevant project information clearly to different audiences
· Ability to manage complex Industrial Design innovation projects and deliver them to successful completion
· Experience developing “systems of systems” architectural initiatives
· Superior tactical planning and self-project management skills
· Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, SketchUp, KeyShot at the appropriate fidelity
· Experience in building interactive prototypes at the right speed and fidelity to drive timely problem definition, learning, and decision-making
