The Role: As a Principal Business Development Manager - Tech, you will use a combination of outstanding leadership, thought clarity, analytical skills, cross-functional partnership, business model analysis, and strategic thinking to innovate on behalf of our customers. You thrive working with cutting-edge technology and have a strong understanding of physical retail, sales, negotiation, contract and business model development, and be comfortable immersing yourself into the details of our technology and customer experience. You also have a proven track record of working on the development of early-stage products, and delivering world-class experiences to customers that raise-the-bar from an innovation, usability, and design perspective. Lastly, you thrive delivering results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, dynamic business environment and are highly comfortable exercising fantastic judgment across a spectrum of highly diverse problems.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of experience working in a business development role and/or sales role to enterprises or government agencies, including navigating complex contract negotiations
· 10+ years of business experience and customer-facing skills to interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical background to easily interact with IT professionals, software developers and architects
· 5+ years of experience in product management, owning and driving end-to-end product development from concept to customer-facing launch, across multiple technology, business, and design teams.
· Able to prioritize complex deliverables, understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and run meetings with technical and business leaders
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data to manage metrics, drive process improvements, and implement business cases
· Think strategically and execute methodically
· Thrive in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
· Successful track record working with other teams within the company
· History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
· Bachelor's degree or higher
