DESCRIPTION

As a member of the GTM and Sales Strategy team for AWS Commercial Sales, you will support the formulation and implementation of the sales model, tooling and mechanisms for WW Commercial Sales to meet our growth objectives. This includes investment criteria to support business growth, best practice identification and standardization and cross-sales organization growth strategies and programs.
· Work cross-functionally to drive overall sales organization readiness and execution.
· Help build and drive strategic change plans across the sales organization.
· Drive the operating model to support growth strategies including organizational wide implementation of best practices.
· Assist in defining, landing and executing on strategic initiatives for the Commercial Sales Organization
· Collaborate with internal end-users and cross-functional teams to incubate new programs and land new initiatives with the field sales teams.
The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges, has experience in program management and has a deep analytic background to assist the AWS WW Commercial Sales organization in meeting its business objectives. The candidate will be a self-starter with a bias towards independent problem solving, a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and has the foresight to anticipate business needs, make trade-offs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints.
The right candidate has a strong record of delivering results timely and effectively. You should have experience managing complex global programs for sales engagement in large, multi-national, preferably tech organizations. The ideal candidate has broad technical skills, strong financial acumen, sales strategy experience, and a deep analytical background. Strong judgement, ability to manage through ambiguity and complexity as well as a demonstrated ability to influence without explicit authority are key to success.

This position will work with the multiple stakeholders within and supporting the extended AWS Commercial Sales organization, such as Service teams, Business Development and Specialized Sales, Sales Leadership, Operations, Marketing, Professional Services, Training & Certification and the Partner team. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across geographies and at the executive level.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Demonstrated ability to think strategically and long-term, act tactically, takes ownership and has business leadership to meet the needs of complex businesses problems
· Strong analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to turn detailed data analysis into useful strategic insight in order to drive customer adoption and make appropriate recommendations to the business
· Understands business operations, and has a background that enables them to create scalable programs that apply holistic approaches to selling
· Demonstrated Earning Trust with internal stakeholders, prove the ability to deep dive data, is biased for action and drives for results through others.
· Establish ways to measure and track metrics related to adoption of the service, and to make improvements to the approach based on those measurements
· Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and metrics
· Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills
· Work effectively across internal and external organizations
· MBA or equivalent relevant business experience

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 10+ years of sales/business strategy & operations or corporate strategy experience in Fortune 1000 organizations
· 5+ years working in complex legacy IT environments, Enterprise applications, and market analysis
· Experience with, and detailed knowledge of the market and insights related to cloud computing and IT
· Experience in management consulting, or project management at or with a technology company.
