Job Description
AIR is seeking a highly enthusiastic, motivated, and customer facing Program Manager to be a part of the Amazon Air team to innovate, manage, and create new air-related solutions that enable the Network Control Center, leadership teams, operational teams and responders to execute in a coordinated response under irregular and emergency situation. This rock star individual will require strong communication skills with managers, peers and team members, both within their immediate department, as well as with other departments and business partners to drive effective and sustainable solutions to complex challenges.

This role will be responsible for the strategic vision and daily management of the AIR Network Control Center Emergency Response and Business Continuity program and procedures. This role will develop, implement, and manage all facets of the NCC emergency response manual, plan and checklists. This individual will ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, company goals, objectives and the appropriate level of corporate preparedness in coordination with the Amazon Global Security Operations Center.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

· Using previous aviation ground operations knowledge to help identify and develop best-in-class carrier operations
· Being a single threaded leader for all Emergency Response and Business Continuity initiatives
· Develop, manage and direct all facets of the Amazon Air Emergency Response Program, ensuring compliance with all federal laws and regulations, DOD, FAA, partner requirements and corporate goals and objectives.
· Create scalable solutions in partnership with Amazon's GSOC to create distribution lists for operational and safety events
· Provides strategic vision for and daily management of NCC Emergency Planning & Response and directs the development and operation of the emergency response teams within AIR
· In the event of an accident, major incident, or other major emergency as well as, other man-made or natural disasters, ensure logistics support of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) within the NCC
· Develop, manage, and support Amazon AIR Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)
· Develop and manage corporate and divisional emergency response checklists
· Liaise with government agencies and industry groups to further preparedness and response efforts
· Develop and execute training, drills and exercises to assess overall preparedness for emergency response and business continuity procedures within AIR
· Able to systematically escalate problems or variances in the operating plan to the relevant owners and teams, following through to resolution to ensure they are delivered.

Successful candidates will have the following skills/experience:

· Must be highly proficient in written and oral communications and be able to produce concise, relevant, strategically driven documents and presentations to leaders
· Proven track record of problem solving skills and ability to use analytical tools is required, while analytic experience in the areas of transportation or network management is strongly preferred
· Demonstrated experience in working in cross functional organizations
· Must have an ability to manage and execute multiple priorities in a timely manner across multiple projects
· Must demonstrate the ability to influence internal and external organizations to achieve corporate goals, including the ability to influence and manage upward as necessary

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in aviation, business, operations management, industrial engineering or related field
· 3+ years of airline operation experience or demonstrated success of emergency response and business continuity planning
· 3+ years of airline or emergency response management experience
· Must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel. Travel required up to 25% of the time
