Do you want to be part of the Partner Development Team helping to establish Amazon Web Services as the leading cloud computing platform?
AWS is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical skill in software architecture and cloud computing as well as customer and partner facing skills at all levels of these organizations. The ideal candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

As a Partner Solutions Architect you will work with and support System Integrators, ISVs, Consulting & Service Delivery Partners, Born-in-the-Cloud Partners, Distributors and other members of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner ecosystem. You will be the trusted adviser to the partner community and help AWS partners to service the world's largest companies whilst collaborating with AWS sales and other AWS cross function teams, in order to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
As a Partner Solutions Architect You will closely work with local and regional Partner Development Managers and have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services across the partner community. Your broad responsibilities will include and not be limited to owning the technical engagement with partners and assist technically in projects.

The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a Partner Solutions Architect who will have successfully demonstrated the ability to think proactively about business, products, and technical challenges. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help and support to build mind share and broad use of AWS across the partner community and market segments.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· As a key member of a regional cross function team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform with and/or through partners
· Educate partners and their customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful customer deployment in the cloud
· Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to AWS business partners that are considering or already using AWS
· Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
· Author or otherwise contribute to AWS partner and customer-facing publications such as whitepapers
· Build relationships with senior technical individuals within the AWS partner community to enable them to be cloud advocates
· Act as a technical liaison between partners, customers, service engineering teams and support
· Be a technical Expert, Technical Advisor and Technical Influencer
· Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
· History of successful technical sales consulting and architecture engagements with partners an
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
